Oval Occasions birthday card

Hello everyone.

The lovely Oval Occasions stamp set is now on the Last Chance Products list and has been reduced in price by 25%! But the coordinating Double Oval punch is thankfully in the Annual Catalogue so will be with us for a while.

I’ve used both the stamp set and the punch to create today’s fun birthday card…

My colour scheme is Poppy Parade and Basic White but this style of card could work in every colour combination you could dream up!

My card base is Poppy Parade measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm to create a tent fold.

I cut a piece of Poppy Parade designer series paper from the Brights 6″ x 6″ paper pack to measure 10 x 14 cm and added the ovals I stamped and punched onto it. I’ve got 3 each of the Happy Birthday, Time to Celebrate and the stars; all of which are from the Oval Occasions stamp set. I backed the stamped smaller oval with the larger one in Poppy Parade card.

Before adding my DSP to the card I added some white crinkled seam binding ribbon to it. To make it a little bit more unusual, I tied the ribbon in a bow but then cut the loops so I have 3 ‘ends’ showing…

I have listed the products I’ve used for today’s card below. The stamp set will show the original price but the discount will be automatically applied in my online Stampin’ Up! store.

When you shop with me, I’ll send you a handmade card and gift as a token of my appreciation. If your order is under £150 please use the current Host Code when you shop so that I can add in an extra gift to your customer thank you pack for the month. See the Host Code page in the main menu for more details.

Happy crafting,

Heather x
