Fun Fold tutorial from Pootlers Blog Hop

16 May

Hello everyone.

Yesterday I took part in the Pootlers team blog hop showcasing products from the new May 2021 to April 2022 Annual Catalogue. If you missed the blog hop then please CLICK HERE to take a look.

This is the fun fold card I shared yesterday…

And as promised in my post yesterday, I’ve got a YouTube tutorial on how to make this card. You can simply click on the image below to watch it…

To make this card you’ll need the following:

  • Pale Papaya card measuring 5″ x 10″
    • scored on the long side at 2-1/2″ and 7-1/2″
  • In Color Shimmer Vellum measuring 5″ x 10″
    • scored on the long side at 2-1/2″ and 7-1/2″
    • make a mark at 2-1/2″ on each short side and use that to cut away the 2 triangles from each end, as shown in the video
  • Pale Papaya card measuring 1″ x 8″ (or more) for the belly band
  • Basic White card for the sentiment tag.
  • Basic White card measuring 4-3/4″ x 4-3/4″ for the inside
  • 4 pieces of Pansy Petals designer series paper that each measure 2-1/4 x 4-3/4″

Here’s a photo of the one I made in the video…

I just love how shimmery that vellum is!

And here’s it open, alongside the original card I made in Soft Succulent…

I really do hope you’ve enjoyed seeing these 2 cards. Now, if you happen to know what this type of fancy fold card is called, please leave me a comment to educate me!

I’ve listed the products I used for both of these cards below. You can click on any of the links to be directed to that item in my online Stampin’ Up! store.

When you shop with me I will send you a handmade card and little gift. If your order is under £150 please use the current Host Code when you shop, so that I can add an extra gift to your customer thank you pack for the month. See the Host Code page in the main menu for more details. When your order is £150 or more you’ll get your own Stampin’ Rewards to spend, so don’t use my code then.

Happy crafting,

Heather x
