When in doubt, be a unicorn.

Hello.

Did you know that today is International Unicorn Day? And that the Unicorn is Scotland’s national animal? Well, you do now! To celebrate this I created this card with the Hippo Happiness stamp set and coordinating Hippo & Friends dies…

If you could be anything, why wouldn’t you want to be a unicorn? Lol

My unicorn was stamped with Blushing Bride ink for the first layer, then Flirty Flamingo and finally Highland Heather ink. I though the horn should be gold foil for such an important occasion!

I stamped the sentiment with Flirty Flamingo ink too and just chopped it into 2 pieces, that I added to the card with Foam Adhesive Strips.

I stamped the stars onto the top Basic White layer on my card with Blushing Bride ink and then added some of the retiring Polka Dot tulle ribbon and some of the pink twine from the Snail Mail pack.

The larger of the 2 labels was added with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the unicorn was added with mini ones…

The little flowers were cut with dies from the Hippo & Friends set too, using Blushing Bride, Flirty Flamingo and Gold Foil. I added pearls to the centre of the gold ones and Champagne Rhinestones to the others. I added a few extra rhinestones to the card base too, a unicorn can never have too much bling!

I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s fun card.

I’ve listed all of the products I used for this card below. The stamps and dies I used are available to purchase separately but if you buy them as bundle you’ll save 10% so I’ve shown both options in the product list.

When you click on a product link you’ll be directed to that item in my Stampin’ Up! store. When you shop with me please use the current Host Code if your order is under £150 so that I can add an extra gift into your customer thank you pack. See the Host Code page in the main menu for more details.

Happy crafting,

Heather x
