Inspire.Create.Challenge #087 – Sketch challenge using Stampin’ Up! In Bloom bundle

Hello.

After winning a recent 3D challenge over at http://www.inspirecreatechallenges.blogspot.com I thought I should take part in their current challenge too. This one is using the following sketch:

You can check out the beautiful cards the design team have made with this layout by CLICKING HERE

After doing yesterday’s video with the Pierced Blooms dies I decided I need to give the coordinating In Bloom stamp set some love too so created this card…

Here are the measurements I used:

  • Bermuda Bay card for the base = 29 x 10.5 cm, scored and folded at 14.5 cm
  • Stamped Basic White panel = 14 x 5 cm
  • Balmy Blue panel = 14 x 4.5 cm
  • Middle Basic White panel = 11.5 x 5 cm
  • Basic White panel for the inside = 14 x 10 cm

I used Balmy Blue, Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay and Night of Navy ink pads to create my own ‘designer series paper’ with the In Bloom stamps.

The sentiment is also stamped with Night of Navy ink.

The flower was made with the Pierced Bloom dies using Coastal Cabana, Basic White and Bermuda Bay card. I absolutely love the pierced details you get with these dies. It really does help with giving the pieces some extra dimension too…

Yesterday’s video shows you how I put similar flowers together for my motivational frame. If you missed it please click here to see my blog post and get the link to my video. While you’re there please also check out the other 3 ladies’ blog posts in our Project Share Blog Hop.

I do hope you’ve enjoyed today’s card. Why not try this sketch out and join in with the challenge too? Or just use this layout for fun, I really like it.

I’ve listed all of the products I’ve used for today’s card below. The In Bloom stamp set and the Pierced Blooms dies can be purchased separately but if you buy them as a bundle you’ll save 10% so I’ve shown both options in my product list.

You can click on any of the links to visit my online Stampin’ Up! shop at any time. When you shop with me you will receive a thank you card and handmade gift. If your order is under £150 please also use my current Host Code when you shop and I will add an extra gift into your customer thank you pack for the month. See the Host Code page for more info.

Happy crafting,

Heather x
