The next 2019-2021 Stampin’ Up! In Color I’m preparing to say goodbye to is Pretty Peacock
I’m also using the retiring soon Rooted In Nature stamps and Nature’s Roots dies. These are firm favourites of mine and will always have a home in my craft room!
When I decided to do this series of cards using the 2019-2021 In Colors to remind myself and everyone else what we’re going to be missing out on if we don’t stock up, I didn’t realise that I only had a TINY scrap of Pretty Peacock card left! I’ve embossed it with one of the Greenery embossing folders and added it to my card along with a similarly sized strip of Forever Greenery designer series paper.
My card base is Basic White Thick card measuring 29 x 10.5 cm, scored and folded at 14.5 cm. I added a layer of Basic White card measuring 10 x 14 cm that I’d added some Pretty Peacock ink to with my blending brush.
I stamped the tree, leaves and sentiment with Pretty Peacock ink onto Basic White card. I used the coordinating dies for the tree and leaves from Nature’s Roots and used one of the Hippo & Friends dies for the sentiment. The sentiment was popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals…
I added some Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets to the card as a finishing touch.
If you love this In Color as much as I do then please stock up while you can. Once the Pretty Peacock items are gone, they really are gone!
