Hello and happy weekend to you all!
Today’s project is a thank you gift for someone sweet! I’ve used the Stampin’ Up! Sweet Strawberry stamp set to create my own ‘designer series paper’ and chopped it up to decorate this box…
I’ve made a video to show you how I did the stamping and how to make this nice and easy box. Please check it out by clicking on the image below:
To make this box you will need:
- Real Red card measuring 7-1/2″ x 6-3/4″
- score on the long side at 3/4″ and 6-3/4″
- score on the short side at 2″, 2-3/4″, 4-3/4″ and 5-1/2″
- Basic White card for stamping that is AT LEAST 6-1/2″ x 6″
- Basic White card scraps for the sentiments
The finished box measures 6″ long, 2″ wide and 3/4″ deep and is the perfect fit for my bar of chocolate covered strawberry fondant. As well as the chocolate treat there’s an extra sentiment hidden inside too…
And just to prove that I did manage to tie a half decent bow on the box I made in the video here it is alongside the original one…
