Hello everyone.
Today’s card features two of the 2019-2021 In Colors that will be retiring in May. The five colours that will be leaving us soon are…
If you love any of these then you’d better stock up before it’s too late!
The two colours I’ve used for today’s card are Rococo Rose and Seaside Spray and I’ve added in some Just Jade from the 2020-2022 In Colors too…
This was my first play with the In Bloom stamp set and the coordinating Pierced Blooms dies so I just cut out a selection of the many flowers and leaves from the set then decided which ones I wanted to use first.
My card base is Basic White Thick card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. I then added a layer of Rococo Rose card measuring 9.5 x 13.5 cm and a piece of the In Good Taste designer series paper measuring 9 x 13 cm.
I used one of the scalloped Layering Circles dies to cut a piece of Basic White card and then embossed it with one of the Greenery embossing folders. I chopped off part of it to line it up with the edge of my designer series paper and then arranged my flowers and leaves on top.
The pierced details on these elements are fabulous!
I stamped the sentiment from the In Bloom set with Rococo Rose ink onto Basic White and cut it with the label die from the Pierced Blooms set. This was the only part I popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals…
I added a few of the smallest flowers to the label and added little pearls to the centre. I used the larger Pastel Pearls for the centres of the main flowers.
I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s card. I can’t wait to have another play with these amazing dies and incorporate more of the stamps too – watch this space! The dies and stamps are available to purchase separately but if you buy them as a bundle you save 10%; I’ve shown both options below.
I’ve listed all of the products I used for today’s card below. You can click on any of the links to be directed to that product in my online Stampin’ Up! shop. When you shop with me and your order is under £150 please make sure you use the current Host Code so that I can add a little extra gift into your customer thank you pack.
