Hello.
Today I’ve got another 2 cards to show you that were created by using leftover Berry Delightful designer series paper from making gift bags.

The paper pieces I had left over from the bag had the pattern in opposite directions and neither was the right size for a card front. So I chopped up the bits I had into 1/2″ strips of various lengths up to 14 cm to use for this card and my second one.
For the first card I used the Banner Pick A Punch to cut each end of the pieces, using a combination of both options on the punch. I added the pieces of paper onto a piece of Shaded Spruce card measuring 10 x 14 cm and stamped the sentiment from Happiest of Birthdays stamp set with Shaded Spruce ink. I used my Stamparatus so that I could re-ink any parts of the stamp that I missed.
For the second card I cut a piece of card to measure 9.5 x 13.5 cm and covered it completely with my strips of Berry Delightful designer series paper…
I started by adding the longest strip diagonally in the middle of the card and worked my way across in each direction from there. Try to make sure you don’t have gaps or overlaps as that will make the stamping better. Again the stamp is from Happiest of Birthdays and I used Shaded Spruce ink. I added this to my card base made from Shaded Spruce card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm.
I added a piece of Basic White card to the inside of each card that measures 10 x 14 cm. I added a strip of paper to one and stamped another sentiment from Happiest of Birthday on the other…
This is a great way to use up strips of paper. I’d hate to waste any of this pretty paper, even if it is FREE.

These cards would probably look just as good with leftovers of some of the Forever Greenery designer series paper too.
