Hello everyone.
When I first bought the Arrange A Wreath bundle I thought it would make a lovely Christmas card, so why has it taken me so long to give a try? The flowers make really nice poinsettias on the wreath…
I used Old Olive for my card base. This measures 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. I added a layer of Gold Foil Sheet that measures 10 x 14 cm (although I did take a piece out of the middle to use another time – I am thrifty after all!). I then added a piece of Whisper White measuring 9.5 x 13.5 cm.
I cut the 2 circles of leaves from Old Olive and Garden Green card and glued them to the card base.
I cut the flowers from Real Red card and sandwiched a circle of Gold Foil Sheet in between the 2 layers for each flower so it shines through the holes. There’s a little circle die in the Wreath Builder set that’s perfect for the job…
I stamped the sentiment from the Arrange A Wreath set with Versamark ink onto a scrap of Whisper White, added gold Stampin’ Emboss powder and heat set it. I trimmed the card to fit and backed it with Real Red card slightly larger.
My bow is made with the gold trim from the Wonder of The Season Ribbon pack. Finally I added some Gilded Gems and Red Rhinestones to complete the look.
I like the end result and think it was worth waiting for!
I’ve listed all of the products I used for today’s card below. The stamp set and dies I used can be purchased separately but if you buy them as a bundle you save 10% so I’ve listed both options for you.
