I can’t thank you enough – with decorative masks

Hello everyone.

I am lucky enough to always need to have thank you cards on hand to send out to family, friends and of course my Stampin’ Up! customers.

I recently purchased the Basic Pattern Decorative Masks that are hidden away on page 146 of the 2020 Annual Catalogue after seeing some beautiful cards that my friend Verity of http://www.inkybutterfly.wordpress.com had made using them.

As soon as I got them I had to have a little play and created two backgrounds then made them into Thank You cards for my stash.

The first one I made uses only Seaside Spray ink…

My card base is made with Seaside Spray card measuring 21 x 14.5cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5cm. I cut 2 pieces of Whisper White card to each measure 10 x 14cm, one for the front and the other for inside the card.

I used a make up blending brush to add the Seaside Spray ink through the leaf pattern mask, using less ink as I work out towards the edges.

I then added one of the Square Vellum Doillies and some Polka Dot Tulle ribbon and added my sentiment on top with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The stamp is from the So Sentimental set and cut with one of the Stitched So Sweetly dies…

I added a few of the silver Metallic Pearls for a bit of bling.

The second card used the dots mask and both Seaside Spray and Rococo Rose inks…

My card sizes are all the same as the first one. I added the Rococo Rose ink first and then moved my mask to add the Seaside Spray ink and again used less ink towards the edges. This time I used Rococo Rose ink for the sentiment…

I’ve only used 2 of the 4 masks that come in the pack for just £5.50. I can’t wait to try out the next 2 soon.

The stamp set and dies I used are available to buy separately but if you buy them as a bundle you’ll save 10%; so I’ve shown both options in the Product List below.

Thanks for reading! Happy crafting,
