Forever Greenery with an Autumnal feel

Hello everyone.

Today’s card uses some of the products from Stampin’ Up!’s fabulous Forever Greenery suite. I love Autumn and look forward to seeing the colours of the trees around us change. It’s only just starting to happen so in the meantime I thought I’d create my own little bit of Autumn with this card…

I’ve used Very Vanilla card for my base for a little change. As usual it measures 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm.

I then added a piece of Crumb Cake card measuring 14.5 x 7.5 cm across the middle. I cut a piece of Very Vanilla to measure 14.5 x 7 cm and embossed it with one of the Greenery embossing folders before adding it on top of the Crumb Cake layer.

I stamped lots of foliage using the Forever Fern stamp set onto Very Vanilla card with Calypso Coral, Terracotta Tile, Cinnamon Cider and Mango Melody inks. I then cut them with the coordinating Forever Flourishing dies. I also cut some extra bits with the dies from Very Vanilla and Crumb Cake card.

I glued some of the die cuts to the embossed layer, allowing some to go over the edge and then trimmed off the excess. I then added one of the Gold Hoops embellishments with glue dots.

I stamped the sentiment with Terracotta Tile ink onto Very Vanilla card and cut it with one of the Tasteful Labels dies. I added some of the foliage to the back of the label and then added it to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals…

My final touch was to add a few Champagne Rhinestones…

The Forever Fern stamp is Distinktive so it gives you lots of shading but you just add ink as normal and the stamp does the rest for you! So clever.
