Hello everyone.
For today’s card I’ve used a stamp set from the August to December 2020 mini catalogue along with a set of dies from the 2020 Annual catalogue. They were absolutely made for each other!!
The Tree Angle stamp set was designed to coordinate with the Stitched Triangle dies. How clever is that?
I made my card base with Pear Pizzazz card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. I cut a piece of Pear Pizzazz designer series paper from the 6″ x 6″ Subtles pack to measure 10 x 14 cm to add to the card base, once I’d added my heat embossing to it.
I stamped 3 of the trees from Tree Angle with Pear Pizzazz ink onto Whisper White card and 3 of the tree trunks with Early Espresso Ink. I added the stars stamp on top of equilateral triangle using Versamark ink, added Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat set it.
I cut the 3 trees with the corresponding Stitched Triangle dies and fussy cut the trunks to glue onto the back of them. I placed them where I wanted them on top of my designer series paper (DSP) to work out where to stamp the greeting and the star with Versamark ink. Once I’d added the Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat set it I glued 2 trees to the DSP and popped the third one up with Stampin’ Dimensionals…
I added 3 Gilded Gems to the 2 smaller trees in the background.
I cut a piece of Whisper White card to measure 10 x 14 cm and stamped part of a tree with Pear Pizzazz ink and a star with Daffodil Delight ink in the bottom left corner then added this to the inside of the card…
I think this is a nice finishing touch and I hope you agree.
