Hello everyone.
Today’s card was made for a challenge in the Facebook group I set up with 2 Stampin’ Up! friends – Crafty Scots Corner. Our current challenge is to share a project (for any craft) with shapes.
So I brought out the Stitched Triangle dies and the Subtles Designer Series Paper pack to create this card…
I used Petal Pink card for my base that measures 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm and added a piece of Highland Heather DSP measuring 10 x 14 cm. I cut a piece of Whisper White card to measure 9 x 13 cm to add my die cut triangles to. I added the 3 at the bottom of the card and then worked my way up. I had to trim off the extras at the sides and a tiny bit of the tops of the final 3.
The colours I chose were Petal Pink, Blushing Bride and Highland Heather.
Before adding the die cut layer to my card I added some Crinkled Seam Binding ribbon and a bow.
The sentiment comes from the Borders Abound stamp set and I used Highland Heather ink on Whisper White card and cut it with one of the Stitched Rectangle dies. I used the corner of the same rectangle die to cut a flag end but keep the stitching.
I added the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals and added some rhinestones for a bit of bling.
