Artistry Blooms thank you card

Hello and thanks for joining me.

If you watched my YouTube video that I published on Wednesday as part of the Stamp Around UK video hop then you’ll already have seen this card…

The theme of the video hop was Designer Series Paper and I used the Artistry Blooms paper to make my little treat baskets. I used paper from the same pack to create this simple card too.

I made my card base with Night of Navy card that measures 14.5 x 21 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. I cut a piece of the Artistry Blooms designer series paper to measure 10 x 14 cm and then embossed it with the Tasteful Textile 3D folder. I really like the extra detail it gives this beautiful ombre paper…

I used one of the Stitched So Sweetly dies to cut another piece of the same sheet of designer series paper with the lighter colours.

I stamped the thank you sentiment from the So Sentimental stamp set with Night of Navy ink onto Whisper White card and cut it with another Stitched So Sweetly die.

I added some of the Night of Navy ribbon from the Playing With Patterns ribbon combo pack around the larger die cut and tied it in a bow. I added this to my card base and then added the stamped die cut on top with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Finally I added 3 of the light blue gems from the Holiday Rhinestones pack…

So I’ve actually used pretty much the same products as I used for my video on Wednesday but for a very different project…

The only one I didn’t use for today’s card is the Small Bloom punch! And all I added was an embossing folder. If you missed my video for this basket please click here to check it out on YouTube.

It always amazes me how well Stampin’ Up! products coordinate and how you can use the same products with very different results!
