Always thinking of you – Very Versailles

Hello everyone.

Today’s card is one I’ve had in my mind to create for a while and only just got around to it. I thought the large leafy stamp from the Very Versailles stamp would look nice ‘growing’ over a painted brick wall and I reckon it does work…

I hope you agree.

I created my card base with Old Olive card measuring 29 x 10.5 cm, score and folded at 14.5 cm. I cut 2 pieces of Very Vanilla card to measure 10 x 14 cm, one for the front and one for inside.

I stamped the leaves with Old Olive ink onto one of the pieces of Very Vanilla card multiple times, overlapping some near the top. I also stamped some leaves in the top left and bottom right corners of the second piece of Very Vanilla card.

I embossed the front piece with the Brick and Mortar embossing folder and I love the effect it gives.

I coloured some of the Gold Metallic Edged ribbon with my Old Olive Dark Stampin’ Blend and attached it to the card base with 2 ‘tails’ in the middle. I then stamped the sentiment with Old Olive ink onto Very Vanilla card and cut it to size (8.5 x 2 cm) and backed it with some Old Olive card (9 x 2.5 cm). I added this to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals and added 3 Gilded Gems.

I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s card. I’ve listed the products I’ve used below and you can click on any of the links to visit my online Stampin’ Up! store.

Heather, this is beautiful. Yes, the vines look great on the brick wall. I love how you colored the white ribbon. I’m going to give that a try. TFS.
