Hello everyone.
I’m heading to the local health centre later today for my regular blood tests and will be taking along some treats for the staff to enjoy when they manage to take a break…
Each wrapper contains a Kit Kat…
As well as giving the staff a well deserved little treat, this is also helping me to use up some of my lovely Designer Series Papers that are about to retire.
The sentiments all come from the Digital stamp set raising funds for 2 international charities fighting Covid-19
I printed a page of the sentiments onto Whisper White card and cut them with a Stitched Rectangle die. The sentiments say Thank You for your sacrifice/care/service so are perfect for lots of our key workers.
I’ve used a variety of designer series papers from Come Sail Away and Garden Lane. Each wrapper needs a main piece that measures 5″ x 5″ and another piece measuring 1″ x 5″ for the belly band. To make the envelope style wrapper you need to measure at 1-1/4″ and 2-1/4″ on each side of one corner and then do the same on the diagonally opposite corner as shown in my video tutorial…
The marks allow you to use a ruler to add your score lines (or simply fold the paper along the ruler like I did in my video) and cut out the little triangles to allow the sides to fold in.
I hope this makes more sense when you watch the video!
I’ve listed some of the products I’ve used below, but this excludes the digital stamp set. You need to click here to purchase that, so the proceeds all go directly to the charities.
The Come Sail Away designer series papers has already sold out but the Garden Lane paper is still available (at the time of writing this!)
Please get in touch if you have any questions about this project, the Covid-19 digital stamp set or any other Stampin’ Up! product. I’d love to help.
Happy crafting,
Heather x
