Sending love & paper hugs

Hello.

I think the main thing that people are missing during this global pandemic and lockdown is the physical company of their friends and family. None of us want to put them at risk but lots of us would still love to hug them if we could!

You could send paper hugs instead with a card like this…

This is another one of the many cute and fun sentiments in the Digital Stamp Set from Stampin’ Up! to raise funds for the World Health Organisation’s COVID Solidarity Response Fund and United Way Worldwide’s COVID-19 Community Response and Recovery Fund. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of this download go to these international charities. You can click on the image below to find out more and to purchase the PDF #sharesunshine

To use the file you simply print the parts you want onto card and trim, die cut or punch them to add to your cards and scrapbooks. Some of them print in black and others are in colour. I’ve used one that prints in Rich Razzleberry and cut it with a Stitched Nested Label die.

My card base is Rich Razzleberry card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. I cut 2 pieces of Whisper White to measure 10 x 14 cm; one for the front and one for the inside.

I cute 5 pieces of See A Silhouette designer series paper to each measure 9.5 x 2.7 cm to add to one of the pieces of Whisper White card. Before adding this piece to my card base I wrapped it with some Whisper White crinkled seam binding ribbon and tied it in a bow.

As well as cutting the sentiment with a Stitched Nested Label die, I also used a larger one on Rich Razzleberry card. I glued these together and then chopped off one end. I added this to my card with Stampin’ Dimensionals, lining up the edge of the label with the Whisper White layer.

Finally I used the Dog Builder punch on Rich Razzleberry card to get the little hearts to add to the card front and label.

I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s card. I’ve listed the products used below, with the exception of the digital stamp set. To purchase the PDF you need to go to https://covid19.stampinup.com/products/giving-back-intl-en so that all proceeds go to the charities.

The See A Silhouette paper is retiring soon so has been reduced to just £8.06 for a pack of 12 sheets of patterned paper: 2 each of 6 double-sided designs. Each sheet is 12″ x 12″. Click on the link below to check it out.

Just let me know if you have any questions about this digital stamp set or any other Stampin’ Up! product. I’d love to help.

Happy crafting,

Heather x
