Hello everyone.
The Music From The Heart stamp set was one I absolutely had to buy, it’s perfect for making cards for musical friends and family. Unfortunately, it will be retiring soon so if you like it too, grab it quick!
Here’s my copper embossed birthday card using this set…
My card base is Whisper White Thick card measuring 29 x 10.5 cm, scored and folded at 14.5 cm to create a portrait tent fold.
I cut a piece of Copper Foil card measuring 10 x 14 cm and then used a scalloped Layering Squares die to cut out part of the middle to use later.
I cut a piece of Whisper White card to measure 9.5 x 13.5 cm and randomly stamped it with Music From The Heart stamps using Versamark ink, added Copper Stampin’ Emboss powder and heat set it.
I did the same with the piano stamp and the happy birthday sentiment from the same set. The piano was cut with a Layering Squares die and backed with the foil one I cut earlier. I cut the sentiment with a Stitched Rectangle die and then cut that into a banner shape.
Before adding the stamped piece to the card base I wrapped it with some Copper Trim and tied it in a knot and frayed the ends. I added the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals…
This copper trim and the amazing Copper embossing powder are also retiring soon too so if you don’t already have some I thoroughly recommend you stock up.
I’ve listed the products I’ve used for today’s card below and you can click on any of the links to start your Stampin’ Up! shopping.
Happy crafting,
Heather x
