Hello everyone.
Crafty Karen set us a challenge in our team’s Facebook group with this Tic Tac Toe grid.
If you haven’t done one of these challenges before then you need to pick a line of 3 to use on your card, it can be horizontal, vertical or diagonal. I chose Birthday, Embossing and Squares and created this fancy fold card…
It was a nice change to make a square card and to include a square swing fold…
This is a nice fancy fold and sits well when opened up…
I used a tutorial from The Craft Spa to create this fold and you can check it by clicking here.
I used Rococo Rose card for the base, the inner panel and the tabs. I added the gorgeous gingham paper from the 2019-2021 In Color designer series paper pack – so even more squares!
I used the Layering Square dies for the aperture.
To include the Birthday and Embossing elements I stamped the Happy Birthday from Magnolia Blooms with versamark ink onto Whisper White card, added Gold Stampin’ Emboss powder and heat set it. This was cut with a Layering Squares die too.
I stamped the gift boxes with Rococo Rose ink onto Whisper White card and then added the dots and bow detail with more gold heat embossing. These stamps come from the Family Party set. The sentiment for the inside and the stars also come from the Family Party set.
I fussy cut all those gifts and added them to the card front and the inside. My panels of DSP and card for the inside each measure 2-1/2″ x 5″.
I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s card. Why not have a play with our Tic Tac Toe board too?
I’ve listed the products I’ve used below and you can click on the links to start shopping for Stampin’ Up! products with me,
