Hello Daisy Lane card

Hello everyone.

I’ve combined two stamp sets and two punches along with 3 colours to create today’s card…

The colours are Soft Sea Foam, Pool Party and Smoky Slate. These were chosen for a Stampin’ Up! team challenge and I love them.

I used the Soft Sea Foam ink and the Daisy Lane stamp set and Daisy punch to layer up 3 daisies and I used the Leaf punch on Smoky Slate card twice. I curled the petals of the daisies with a bone folder and scored lines on the leaves and folded them to give a bit more dimension…

I cut some Pool Party card to measure 9.5 x 13.5 cm and Whisper White to measure 9 x 13 cm. I stamped the Whisper White with Soft Sea Foam, Pool Party and Smoky Slate inks and one of the textured stamps from Label Me Bold. I glued the stamped layer to the Pool Party card.

I then coloured some of the Whisper White crinkled seam binding ribbon with the Soft Sea Foam Dark Stampin’ Blend and wrapped it round my 2 top layers a couple of times, securing the ends on the back. I then added this to my Soft Sea Foam card base.

I stamped the word Hello from Label Me Bold three times with Smoky Slate ink onto Whisper White card and trimmed them to fit. I then added these to my card, along with the daisies, leaves and some sequins.

This might not have been my choice of colours but I really like the result and I hope you do too.
