Hello everyone.
My lovely team mate and friend Gez of www.nigezza.co.uk set a challenge in her facebook group recently, encouraging us to make cards to for someone who is self isolating to make them smile and show them you are thinking of them.
Right now, I’m am missing socialising with both friends and family. So my card is to remind a friend that I am honoured that she chose me and blessed me with her friendship…
And here’s the inside…
I made my card base from Smoky Slate card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm , scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. I then cut 2 pieces of Whisper White card that each measure 10 x 14 cm.
I stamped one piece with the floral sprigs from Beauty Abounds in Smoky Slate ink and then coloured the leaves with Soft Sea Foam and Mint Macaron inks. I coloured the flowers with Petal Pink ink. I stamped the first part of the sentiment with Petal Pink ink too.
I used both Petal Pink and Smoky Slate to stamp the bubbles. I used Soft Sea Foam and Smoky Slate inks to stamp the splatters (for want of a better word, lol).
I stamped the second part of the sentiment on scrap of Whisper White card with Petal Pink ink and trimmed it to fit. I inked the edges with Petal Pink ink and added it to the card.
The message inside comes from the So Sentimental stamp set and again I used Petal Pink ink. I used both Petal Pink and Smoky Slate to add some decoration around the edges of the panel before adding it to the inside of my card.
