Hello everyone.
I don’t normally send very many Easter cards, so I don’t have any Easter themed stamp sets. However, this year I intend to send out more, just as a way of keeping in touch so I’ve made a few extras.
I used the cute bunnies from the Wildly Happy stamp set as my main focus for this card…
I stamped the bunnies with Memento ink onto Shimmery White card and added some watercolour wash around them using Balmy Blue for the sky and Granny Apple Green for the grass. I added a little bit of Blushing Bride to their cheeks too. I then cut this with the Everyday Label punch.
I used Whisper White Note Cards & Envelopes and cut pieces of Whisper White card to layer onto the note cards, these measure 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″.
I used the beautiful Detailed Bands die on Night of Navy card as a crisp contrast. Before adding this to my piece of Whisper White card I threaded some Whisper White crinkle seam binding ribbon through the front of the die cut. I glued the die cut down, securing the front of the ribbon and then wound the ribbon around the back and tied it in a bow at the side.
I added my coloured image with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiments from A Wish For Everything in Night of Navy ink and added the panel to my note card.
I also stamped a sentiment from the same set on the inside…
These were quite quick to put together once I’d started my stamping, colouring, punching and die cutting assembly line.
I hope you enjoyed seeing these and will have a go at making some too. You don’t always have to have Easter themed stamp sets to make some Easter cards, as long as you’ve got appropriate sentiments.
