Life is full of ups and downs so this sentiment is very apt for friendships that last a lifetime…
This card also gave me an excuse to break out my Watercolor Pencils to add some much needed colour while we wait for Spring to get into full swing here in Scotland.
I used the Under My Umbrella stamp set and coordinating Umberella Builder Punch, along with some fussy cutting.
As I wanted to use Watercolor Pencils I stamped my images with Stazon black ink onto Shimmery White card. I added the colour and blended with a blender pen. I then added some Wink of Stella for even more sparkle…
The Umbrella punch means I didn’t need to fussy cut those bits, thank goodness!
My background was embossed with the Brick & Mortar 3D embossing folder.
I stamped the sentiment with Real Red ink onto Whisper White card and cut it with a Stitched Rectangle die.
This is quite a clean and simple card and the white background gives the colours and extra pop. I hope you like it as much as I do.
