Hello everyone.
A relative of mine recently had a scheduled operation and is now recovering well back at home. A ‘get well soon’ card didn’t really seem right but this sentiment from the free Sending You Thoughts stamp set did…
To make this card I started with a piece of Whisper White Thick card cut to measure 29 x 10.5 cm, scored and folded at 14.5 cm. I added a piece of Peaceful Poppies designer series paper measuring 10 x 14 cm.
I stamped the sentiment with Poppy Parade ink onto Whisper White card for the first part and directly on the inside of the card base for the second part. I cut the first part with the Timeless Label punch and then cut a second one from Poppy Parade card, cut it in half and added it to the back of the stamped one to extend the ends.
I added some of the Peaceful Poppies Elements to decorate the card front and added one to the inside. These are so useful for making a quick card when you don’t have the time to stamp, colour and die cut; it’s all done for you.
I also added a piece of the textured Poppy Parade ribbon with some Tear & Tape adhesive strip.
Finally, I added some of the Peaceful Poppies sequins too. Stampin’ Dimensionals give some of the elements some height…
I hope you like this bright and cheerful card. The stamp set I used to create it is only available as a free gift with a qualifying spend of £45 before 31 March 2020, or while stocks last. We’re already seeing some of the freebies going out of stock so if this stamp set takes your fancy don’t delay.
