Hello.
It’s been a wee while since I made a masculine card so I got out my A Good Man stamp set and my Stampin’ Blends to create this card…
I made a card base from Pool Party card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. The next layer is a pattern from the Peaceful Poppies designer series paper, even although there’s not a flower in sight! Many of the Stampin’ Up! paper packs have beautiful textural or less intricate designs on the ‘reverse’ side. I often hate having to decide which side to use! This distressed print is perfect for a more masculine card.
I stamped the main image with Memento Black ink and coloured with various Stampin’ Blends. I’ll list them in my product list at the end of this blog post.
I stamped the sentiments by masking off each line of the stamp at a time. I used Pool Party ink on Whisper White card.
Each part was cut with a Stitched Rectangle die, along with another one from Pool Party card. I love all that stitching detail…
I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing today’s card and it will give you some inspiration for your next masculine card. I love this adorable image of what I imagine to be a father and daughter but it could be an uncle I suppose.
