Hello everyone.
The Little Ladybug stamp set is just so cute, I don’t ever want to stop playing with it! Here’s my latest card…
To compliment the ladybird’s wings I’ve created a panel of Real Red card with Basic Black dots. The Real Red piece measures 5 x 12 cm and the dots were created with the 1/2″ circle punch. I matted this layer with Basic Black card measuring 5.5 x 12.5 cm.
I stamped the happy birthday from the Little Ladybug stamp set in Real Red ink onto Whisper White card and trimmed to fit. Again I added this to some Basic Black card.
I stamped the main image with memento black ink onto Whisper White card and coloured it with my Stampin’ Blends. I used Cherry Cobbler dark, Smoky Slate light, Rich Razzleberry light and Ivory.. I cut this with a square die from Stitched Shapes. I used a larger die on Basic Black card to add to the back of my stamped one.
All of these elements were added to a card base made with Whisper White Thick card measuring 29 x 10.5cm, scored and folded ar 14.5cm to create a portrait tent fold.
I popped the sentiment and the main image up with Stampin’ Dimensionals and added a few red rhinestones beside the sentiment.
