Hello everyone.
Today’s card uses the So Sentimental Bundle that I must admit I’ve totally fallen in love with and can’t stop using! The So Sentimental stamps have some really lovely sentiments (the clue is in the name, lol) and the Stitched So Sweetly Dies are so very versatile.
I chose to use the ‘Sending healing hugs’ stamp as I hadn’t inked that one up yet. That made me think about the Wildly Happy stamp set with those mother and baby animals hugging each other. They are all so cute but the elephants are my favourite…
I used Gray Granite card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored on the long side at 10.5 cm for my card base and set it aside.
I cut a piece of Whisper White card to measure 10 x 14 cm and embossed it with the Scripty 3D folder. I inked the edges with Highland Heather ink to highlight the embossing a little more.
I stamped those super cute elephants in Versamark ink on a piece of Gray Granite card, added clear Stampin’ Emboss powder and heat set it. When cooled I cut it with the largest rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly dies. I glued this to the embossed layer. Isn’t the shine just fabulous? I love it!
I stamped the sentiment in Highland Heather ink onto Whisper White card and cut it with another Stitched So Sweetly die. I used a larger die from the set to cut a piece of Highland Heather card. I added the Highland Heather piece to the stamped and embossed layers. I added some Gray Granite ribbon and secured the ends on the back before adding the stamped die cut with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I then added the whole topper to my card base.
This card would certainly make me smile if I received it and would feel like a virtual hug. I hope you like it too.
I’ve listed the products I used for today’s card below. If you buy the So Sentimental Stamps and the Stitched So Sweetly Dies as a bundle you will save 10% on the cost of buying them separately, so I’ve shown both options below. Happy crafting,
Heather x
