Hello.
Did you know there’s such a thing as Bath Tea Bags? It was news to me! I saw them in a local shop and bought one to make a holder for it as a gift idea and here it is…

This is quite a common fold for tea bags. As the Bath Tea Bag is filled with salts it’s a bit bulkier than a tea bag, it works quite well anyway.
I used a piece of Blushing Bride card that measures 10-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ and scored it on the long side at 3-1/2″ and 7″
I cut a piece of Mosaic Mood speciality designer series paper (DSP) to measure 3-1/4″ x 3-14″ with a rose roughly in the centre for the front. I cut other roses from the paper to stack on top; they don’t have to be the same flowers just progressively smaller. I layered them with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added Very Vanilla Gold Metallic Edge ribbon to the card before covering it with my DSP.

I cut the end panel in half on the diagonal and added glue to the bottom edge to create the pocket for the bag. I added a piece of the beautiful Mosaic Mood speciality designer series paper to cover the pocket. There may be an easier way to work out the correct size but the way I did it was to cut a piece to measure 3-1/2″ square and then cut it in half on the diagonal and then trimmed off 1/4″ from the right angle side. This gives it a small border all the way round.
I cut another piece of the DSP to 3-1/4″ x 3-14″ for the back of the holder and again added my ribbon before my DSP.
My sentiment is perfect for a Mother’s Day gift or just to spoil your mother at any time. The stamp comes from the Strong & Beautiful stamp set. I used Versamark ink on Very Vanilla card, added Gold Stampin’ Emboss powder and heat set it. I cut it with my 2″ circle punch and backed it with Crushed Curry card cut with my Starburst punch. I love the thick shine you get with Stampin’ Emboss powders…

I popped in the Bath Tea Bag and tied the ribbons in a bow to keep the holder closed.

I think is a pretty gift and quite a surprising one too. I hope you like it too.

This is a lovely way to use this paper. It has been a favorite of mine since the catty came out in June. Thanks for the idea.
