Hello everyone.
I love Memories & More cards, they are very versatile. I’ve used them for scrapbooking, journalling, decorating notebooks and cards. We used some of the Come Sail Away Memories & More card pack in our Traveller’s Notebook workshop on Sunday and I decided to use a leftover for this quick and simple card…
I really liked the sentiment and it could be used for a masculine Valentine’s card or just a card to remind a friend of some memories you’ve shared.
I used a card base of Sahara Sand card cut to 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded at 10.5 cm. I cut a piece of the Come Sail Away designer series paper to 10 x 14 cm and another piece to 5.5 x 10 cm to add across the middle.
I trimmed the Memories & More card down to 6.5 x 10 cm so more of the background would be shown. Before adding this to my card I inked the edges with Sahara Sand ink, using a sponge dauber. I also inked the edges of my designer series paper.
I cut 2 pieces of Night of Navy/Sahara Sand Baker’s Twine and joined the two loops and secured the ends on the back of the paper before adding it to the card base.
I added the Sail Away Trinket with some mini glue dots to complete my card.
This was so quick and easy to put together, thanks to the Memories & More card. I hope you’ll be inspired to give Memories & More card packs a try. You get 50 double-sided cards in the pack (in 2 different sizes), plus laser-cut cards and sticker sheets for just £10.25, so there’s lots of possibilities to get creative with them.
