Hello and welcome!
I had lots of inky fun making this card…
I hadn’t used the ink smooshing technique or the Daisy Lane stamp for a while and combined them to have fun with this card. I used Rococo Rose card for my base, this measures 29 x 10.5 cm and I scored the long side at 14.5 cm to create a portrait tent fold.
I cut a piece of Shimmery White card to measure 9.5 x 13.5 cm and sprayed this with water using a Stampin’ Spritzer. I then added Rococo Rose ink to a large clear block (I used an E block) and spritzed that with water too. I then smooshed the block onto the paper and moved it around to spread the watered down ink. I also did this on a couple of scraps of Shimmer White card to use with the Daisy punches later.
I use my heat tool to dry my inked up card and set it aside while I cut my Gold Glimmer Paper layer and added it to my card base (by the way I cut out the middle of this layer to used for another project so that it doesn’t go to waste being covered up)
Once my card was fully dry I stamped the ferns and sentiment with Versamark ink, added Gold Stampin’ Emboss powder and used my heat tool again to set it.
I used the Daisy punch and the Medium Daisy punch on both Rococo Rose card and my ink smooshed card scraps and layered them together. I added a 1/2″ circle punch of the smooshed card in the centre and added some Wink of Stella to it for a bit more shimmer.
I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing today’s card as much as I enjoyed making it! I need another excuse to get inky, lol.
