Hello.
As I mentioned a couple of days ago, I attended a Scottish Womens’ Institute Show and craft fair at the weekend. As well as selling more Tic Tac holders than expected I also sold out of my nail file wraps. So I’m now making more and thought I’d share this one with you…
I love the etherial look of the Perennial Essence designer series paper, don’t you? The pack of paper is full of lovely soft and beautiful designs.
I used a piece of the paper that measures 6 x 6 inches, scored at 1 & 1/2 inches, 3 inches and 4 & 1/2 inches.
I learned this fold from the lovely Kaye Mellor of www.papercraftskies.co.uk and her video tutorial…
As you can see, Kaye popped pencils into her version so here’s what mine looks like with pencils too…
Or you could choose to pop in a pen instead, like this gorgeous Swarovski one I received as a birthday gift from one of my very dear friends….
To decorate my wrap I added some of the Silver Metallic Edged ribbon around the middle, joining the ends at the front with some Tear & Tape.
I stamped the sentiment from the Time For Tags host set in Gorgeous Grape ink onto Whisper White paper and cut it with the coordinating Timeless Label punch. I also cut another of the labels from Highland Heather card, cut it in half and glued to the ends of the stamped tag.
I used watercolour pencils and a blender pen to colour the image.
I think this soft colouring complements the designer series paper. I hope you agree and have enjoyed today’s project.
I’ve listed the Stampin’ Up! products I’ve used below. You can click on the links to visit my online shop at any time.
Happy crafting,
Heather x
