Hello. If you’ve read many of my blog posts recently you will have realised that I am totally in love with the Snowman Season stamp set and the Snowman builder punch. So I’ve challenged myself to make some Christmas cards without them, but still using the Let It Snow speciality designer series paper.
Here’s my first card…
To soften the blow of not using the punch I chose a design from the paper pack that still has lots of cute snowmen on it, lol.
As it is really cute I didn’t want to cover much of it up so I’ve just added a sweet sentiment from the Host stamp set Greatest Part of Christmas and a little bit of Real Red Glimmer paper.
My card base is Whisper White Thick card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. I added a layer of Pool Party card measuring 10 x 14 cm and then my designer series paper measuring 9.5 x 13.5 cm,
I stamped the sentiment in Real Red ink onto Whisper White card and cut it with the Story Label. I also punched a label from Real Red card, cut it in half lengthwise and glued it to the back of the stamped one. I cut a piece of Real Red Glimmer paper to measure 2 x 9 cm and then cut a banner in one end.
The sentiment was added with Stampin’ Dimensionals and I just had to add some more bling with red rhinestones.
I’ll be back tomorrow with another card using the Let It Snow speciality designer series paper but without any snowmen – eek!
I’ve listed the products I’ve used below. You can click on any of the links to visit my friend Valerie’s online Stampin’ Up! store.
Happy crafting,
