Rooted In Nature for a colour challenge

Hello and thanks for joining me.

As well as a weekly sketch challenge the Stampin’ For All Facebook Group (hosted by the fabulous Amanda Charlesworth, aka Scrimping Mommy) also has a weekly colour challenge. Amanda chose these colours for this week…

This suggested Autumn to me and so I had to dig out my Rooted In Nature stamp set and Nature’s Roots dies to create this card…

I made a card base from Early Espresso card measuring 21 x 14.5cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. I cut a piece of the Magnolia Lane designer series paper to measure 10 x 14 cm and added it to my card base.

I used the Nature’s Roots dies to emboss and cut the leaves from Cajun Craze and Merry Merlot card and added them to the card falling downwards.

I stamped the sentiment from Rooted In Nature in Merry Merlot ink onto Cajun Craze card before cutting and embossing it with the dies. I added this to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals so that it stands out.

I added a panel of Whisper White card to the inside of the card and a little bit of the same designer series paper…
