Hello.
I enjoyed yesterday’s card for a sketch challenge so much that I decided to make another one. This time I’ve followed the layout set by Ian Potter in the Stampin’ For All Facebook group…
I decided to use Pretty Peacock and Blackberry Bliss colours and the gorgeous Perennial Essence designer series paper and this is what I created…
This paper really suggests impressionist paintings and a little can go a long way. I matted my paper squares with Noble Peacock foil and then added them to a piece of Blackberry Bliss that was also matted with the foil. This was all added to my card base made from Blackberry Bliss card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm.
I stamped the sentiment from the Very Versailles stamp set in Blackberry Bliss ink onto Whisper White card. I added this to another piece of the Perennial Essence paper before adding both to the card base.
As the card base is too dark to write on I added a panel of Whisper White card inside and added another little bit of the designer series paper to the bottom edge…
This layout would work really well with almost any patterned paper and I can’t wait to see what everyone else creates. Why not join the Stampin’ For All Facebook group to join in?
I’ve listed the products used below and you can click on any of the links to purchase them.
Happy crafting,
