Happy World Elephant Day 2019

Elephants are one of my favourite animals and deserve to be loved and respected as a species; so I like to honour them on World Elephant Day #worldelephantday2019

I could have used the Wildly Happy stamp set again with that super cute parent and child elephant stamp but instead I used the Little Elephant stamp set and the Elephant Builder punch to create this celebration card…

I also made this card for a sketch challenge using this layout chosen by Ian of http://www.stampingwithian.blogspot.com in the Stampin’ For All Facebook Group…

I chose to use Balmy Blue card on a Whisper White card base and for the 2 smaller panels I used Blueberry Bushel card and paper from the 2018-2020 In Color 6″ x 6″ designer series paper pack. I also used Blueberry Bushel card for the larger panel and added some more Whisper White on top.

I stamped the elephant in Blueberry Bushel ink onto Whisper White card and cut it with the Elephant Builder punch. The sentiment and balloons also come from the Little Elephant stamp set. I used Balmy Blue ink for the balloons and Blueberry Bushel ink for the sentiment.

I added this stamped panel to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals…

I am absolutely delighted to be spoilt for choice with elephant stamp sets this year. I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s card.
