My first card featuring Woven Heirlooms from Stampin’ Up!

Hello and thanks for joining me.

I think that the new Woven Heirlooms stamp set may just have taken the place of my old favourite Touches of Texture that has now retired. Here’s the first card I’ve made with this beautiful stamp set…

I used a card base in the new 2019-2021 In Color Seaside Spray. This measures 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. I then cut a piece of Whisper White card to measure 10 x 14 cm. I stamped this with both Seaside Spray and Pretty Peacock inks using the Woven Heirlooms stamps. I also diluted a bit of the Seaside Spray ink on a clear block with my aqua painter and splashed a few drops of it over the stamped card.

The sentiment is also from the same set and was stamped in Seaside Spray onto Whisper White card and cut with my 2 inch circle punch. I backed this with a piece of Pretty Peacock card cut with my Starburst punch. I added some loops of Silver Thread before adding the circles to my card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I also stamped the inside of the card with the same little flourish as on the bottom right corner of the front…

I think this card would work equally well in all sorts of colour combinations, don’t you?

I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s card. I’ve listed the products used below. You can click on any of the links to visit my friend Valerie’s online Stampin’ Up! shop if you’d like to purchase any of them.

Happy crafting,

Heather x
