Hello.
The 2019-2020 Annual Stampin’ Up! catalogue was launched yesterday. Even although I’m no longer a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator it was still an exciting day for me as a fan of Stampin’ Up! products.
If you haven’t already seen the catalogue you can now view it online – just click here.
Today I want to show you one of the cards I was lucky enough to make with samples of the new products in April…
This card features the Come Sail Away suite (see page 145 of the new catalogue) which is perfect for someone like me who lives on the coast.
This card uses a Whisper White Note Card & Envelope and some of the Come Sail Away designer series paper to cover the full front of the note card in one design and then a panel measuring 3 inches by 4 & 1/4 inches of another design.
I added a watercolour wash using very diluted Night of Navy ink onto the Watercolor Paper panel that measures 2 & 3/4 inches by 4 inches.
The lighthouse stamp is from the Sailing Home set and was stamped in Night of Navy ink onto Whisper White card. As I didn’t have the Smooth Sailing dies I just cut my stamped image with paper snips and then added it onto the Watercolour Paper.
The sentiment was also stamped in Night of Navy ink onto Balmy Blue card and cut with the Everyday label punch.
I also used the Decorative Ribbon Border punch on Soft Suede card and added this to the bottom of the DSP panel, trimmed to the width of the card.
Before adding the Watercolor panel to the card I wound some of the new Night of Navy/Sahara Sand twine around it and tie it in a knot with one of the Sail Away trinkets. The sentiment was then added with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I’ve listed the products I’ve used with this card below. You can click on any of the links to visit my friend Valerie’s online Stampin’ Up! shop if you’d like to buy any of them.
Happy crafting,
Heather x
