Stampin’ For All Sketch challenge

Hello.

Today’s card was made to play along with a card layout challenge over in the Stampin’ For All Facebook Group. The challenge was set by Ian of StampingWithIan.Blogspot.co.uk and this was the sketch he gave us to follow…

I liked the monochrome look of the sketch and decided to use that as my inspiration too and this is the card I created…

I don’t often use Basic Black as a card base but I rather like the look. I used some of the black and white designs from the Tropical Escape designer series paper pack for the one inch squares and for the 5 & 1/2 inches by 1 & 3/4 inches panel.

I used the Well Written Framelits dies with Whisper White and Basic Black card for the words ‘love’ and ‘you’

The flowers were made with the Bitty Blooms punches set which has unfortunately now sold out, but you could substitute with another small flower die if you have one. I added a silver Metallic Pearl to the centre of each flower. Finally I added the little heart that I punched with the Dog Builder punch, although I could have used the heart die in the Well Written set.

I added a panel of Whisper White card to the inside so that I didn’t have to try to find a white pen to write with!
