With Much Love & Thanks

Hello and thanks for joining me today.

I have a thank you card to share with you today which uses my favourite technique of all, heat embossing…

I like the white space of this design as it shows off the luxurious copper heat embossing perfectly.

I used Whisper White card measuring 21 x 14.5cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm and then added a layer of Copper Foil card measuring 10 x 14 cm.

I cut another piece of Whisper White card to measure 8.5 x 12.5 cm so that there’s a nice wide border of the Copper Foil card showing. Before stamping I used my embossing buddy to help to remove any fingermarks and static from the card. This stops the embossing powder sticking where you don’t want it. I used stamps from Tropical Chic, which is carrying over into the 2019-2020 Annual catalogue – yippee! (The dies are carrying over too, but you can only save 10% by buying both the stamps and dies as a bundle up until 2 June 2019)

I stamped using Versmark ink for both the leaf and the sentiment and then covered them with Copper Stampin’ Emboss powder, gave the card a shake to remove the excess powder and then heat set it.

Before adding this layer to my card I wound some Copper metallic thread around it, securing the ends on the back and then tied some more thread around it on the front in a double knot…

I hope you like this clean and simple thank you card. I’ve listed all of the products used below and you can click on any of them to visit my online Stampin’ Up! shop at any time. I’d be honoured to be your independent demonstrator.

Happy crafting,

Heather x
