Hello and Happy Easter to you all.
Today I thought I’d share some of the Easter cards I’ve given out this year…
I was inspired by one of the swaps I received at our Pootlers team day last week…
This card was created by Bex of Tranquil Bay and I loved the way she had combined the stems from the Beautiful Bouquet with the flowers created with the Bitty Blooms punches and decided to make a spring bouquet for my Easter Cards. Unfortunately Bex doesn’t do social media and hasn’t got her website set up yet so I can’t give you any links.
For my version I wanted to use bright colours to remind me of Spring and chose Granny Apple Green ink for the stems and Lemon Lime Twist, Pineapple Punch, Mango Melody, Grapefruit Grove and Daffodil Delight card for the flowers and card bases etc.
My card bases measure 10.5 x 29 cm, scored and folded at 14.5 cm. My Whisper White layers measure 10 x 14 cm.
I must confess that I don’t have any Easter greetings stamps so improvised with my printer onto Whisper White card then either my Classic Label or Everyday Label punches.
For the extra flowers added to the Everyday Labels I used some of the Granny Apple Green Glitter Enamel Dots for the centres. I also added a bit of Whisper White Polka Dot Ribbon under the Everyday Labels.
The ribbon bows were all stamped with Daffodil Delight ink onto Whisper White card and then cut with the Bouquet Bunch Framelits.
I hope you like my cards and the one created by Bex. I’ve listed the products I’ve used in my cards below. I’d be honoured if you choose me to be your independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrator. You can click on any of the product links to visit my online shop.
Happy crafting,
Heather x
