As promised in yesterday’s blog, here’s the card I made for my friend that received the box I shared with you yesterday…
My card base is my usual 29 x 10.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 14.5 cm to create a portrait tent fold with Whisper White Thick card.
I then added a layer of Happiness Blooms designer series paper measuring 10 x 14 cm – this is the opposite side of the sheet I used for the box yesterday.
I then selected one of the large Happiness Blooms Memories & More cards and trimmed it down to 9.5 x 13.5 cm. This is one of the speciality cards with an amazing glossy finish that I hope you can see from this photo…
Before I added this layer to my card I added some of the Calypso Coral ribbon that I used on yesterday’s box too.
I stamped the sentiment from the Incredible Like You stamp set in Night of Navy ink onto Whisper White card and cut it out using my Pretty Label punch. I also used the punch on Calypso Coral card, cut that in half lengthways and glued it to the back of the stamped label. This was then added to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The final touch was to add 3 of the Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots to the sentiment label.
I hope you agree that the card compliments the gift box nicely, even if they don’t exactly match…
