Pen gift wrap

Hello and thanks for visiting my blog today.

Today I have a little gift wrap that I’d like to share with you…

I used Kaye Mellor’s YouTube tutorial for her pencil wraps as my starting point but I wanted to be able to put mine into a 2 inch cello bag so made mine narrower. I used Pool Party from the Subtles 6 by 6 inches designer series paper stack that I trimmed down to 5 & 1/2 by 5 & 1/2 inches. I then scored at 1 & 3/8 inches, 2 & 3/4 inches and 4 & 1/8 inches then followed Kaye’s folding method.

I wrapped some Whisper White ribbon round the centre and glued it it the middle. I covered the join with my sentiment. I stamped You Are Loved Completely in Pool Party ink onto Whisper White card. I cut this using a Layering Circles framelits dies, along with a scalloped one slightly larger from Pool Party card then glued them together.

I added a topper to my cello bag by using a piece of Whisper White card that I had folded in half. When I punched it with my Tailored Tag punch I made sure I didn’t cut the top part so that it was still hinged. I stamped this with You’re Amazing & That’s A Fact, again with Pool Party ink. Both sentiments are from the new Strong & Beautiful stamp set. The dots I stamped are from the new Bloom By Bloom stamp set. I used tear & tape adhesive to keep add the topper to the bag. Finally I added a few rhinestones.
