Fun with the Joyous Noel Suite

Hello and thank you for joining me.

I had the absolute pleasure of hosting a Christmas crafts workshop in a local cafe on Wednesday morning that was attended by 4 lovely ladies.  None of them had made cards or stamped before so it was great fun to learn together.

I had make a few examples of cards using the Joyous Noel speciality designer series paper and prepped card and dsp layers for them to choose from.  Here are some of the cards I made to inspire them…

I was delighted that nobody made an exact copy of any of these cards but instead they all made their very own creations using the products I supplied. They learned new skills and absolutely loved the magic of heat embossing.  I’ve been doing heat embossing for years but the process is still a little bit magical to me, lol.

Crafting is often a solitary activity but it’s wonderful when you can craft with friends or even make new friends while crafting.  I certainly pushed myself out of my comfort zone a little but it was such a rewarding and fun experience for me and I can’t wait to do it again.
