Hello.
I have a few craft fairs that I’m attending in the run up to Christmas and I’m always on the look out for something different to make for them. So if you have any bright ideas then please let me know!
The Stampin’ Up! team I’m part of had a get together a few weeks ago, that unfortunately I wasn’t able to attend. However, most of the people that went shared lots about their experience and their ‘swaps’ that I don’t feel like I missed out too much. One of the swaps made by Kaye Mellor of www.papercraftskies.co.uk was my inspiration for these pencil wraps…
The novelty pencils and erasers are from a well known online company that sells everything from A to Z
I used 6 x 6 inch pieces of the photographic All Is Bright designer series paper pack and followed Kaye’s YouTube video for the instructions – click here to see it for yourself.
I stamped the Merry Little Christmas sentiment from Peaceful Noel stamp set in Real Red onto Very Vanilla card and the cut this out using the smallest of the Layering Circle dies. I backed this with the smallest scalloped circle die from the set in Real Red card.
I used my Sprig punch on Garden Green card and added 2 sprigs to each wrap then added the sentiment with a stampin’ dimensional.
I tied some Real Red solid 1/8″ ribbon to the top of each of the pencils before slipping it into the wrap.
Thanks to Kaye for the inspiration and to Stampin’ Up! for this gorgeous paper. Now I better get on with making more as I bought 24 pencils! Lol.
I’ve listed the products I’ve used below. You can click on any of them to visit my online Stampin’ Up! shop. But before you buy please check out my Host Code page and remember to use this month’s Host Code if your order is under £150.
Happy crafting,
