You are amazing – featuring All Is Bright Designer Series Paper

Hello

Today I decided to show you a card made with Christmas paper, that’s not a Christmas card!

The All Is Bright Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up! has 6 festive photographic designs in the pack but on the reverse of each of these is a different design; and some of them are not very Christmassy so can be used for other cards too.

I love this dotty paper and whilst it is lovely on Christmas cards it doesn’t exactly scream Christmas so I decided to use it for a different type of card.

My card base is Real Red card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded at 10.5 to create a conventional card fold.  My designer series paper measures 14 x 10 cm but I used my Layering Circles Framelits dies to remove a circle in the bottom right corner.  I saved the bit I cut out and used it with a smaller framelit to cut out a scalloped circle to back my sentiment.

Before adding my DSP to the card I wrapped some Real Red ribbon around it and tied it in a bow.  I secured the bow where I wanted it with a mini glue dot.

I stamped the sentiment ‘you are amazing’ from the All Things Thanks stamp set in Real Red ink onto Whisper White card and again used a smaller Layering Circles framelit to cut it out.  I added this to the DSP circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then adhered that to the centre of the void in my DSP on the card base.

The final touch was to add some rhinestones, every card needs some bling! Lol
