World Card Making Day 2018 – Stampin’ Up! discounts

Hello and Happy World Card Making Day!

To celebrate Stampin’ Up! are offering a 10% discount on selected products from 1st to 7th October 2018.

One of the stamp sets with the 10% discount is one of my favourites Petal Palette, so I thought I should make a card with it for you all on World Card Making Day…

My Very Vanilla card base measures 29 x 10.5cm, scored and folded at 14.5 cm.

I’ve used 3 stamps from the Petal Palette set for my background. I stamped using Crumb Cake ink onto Crumb Cake card that measures 14 x 10 cm.  I then used 3 ink pads (Berry Burst, Rich Razzleberry & Lemon Lime Twist) to watercolour over the stamped images with an Aqua Painter.

I wrapped my Crumb Cake panel with some Crumb Cake Classic Weave ribbon before attaching the panel to my base.  I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set in Rich Razzleberry ink onto Very Vanilla Card and punched this with my Pretty Label Punch.  I also used the same punch on Berry Burst card that I cut in half lengthwise to back the stamped one.  I added a few loops of Linen Tread to my card before adding the label with  Stampin’ Dimensionals.
