Hello.
I picked up this lip balm the other day, just because I liked the colours…
Obviously a lip balm needs a box, lol. Then I remembered that I saw a video from The Paper Pixie recently with a tutorial for a nice lip balm box. So I searched for it and followed it to make this…
Check out The Paper Pixie’s blog for her instructions – click here
I didn’t put the window in the front as I didn’t want the lip balm to be shown but to be a little surprise instead.
For my version I used Grapefruit Grove card and 6 x 6″ In Colors DSP. The sentiment is from the Time for Tea stamp set and I used Grapefruit Grove ink on Whisper White card. I used my Layering Circles dies to cut the sentiment and a backing circle from Grapefruit Grove card.
These are nice and easy to make and would make a nice addition to any craft fair. I suspect I make more of these nearer to Christmas as they’d make a nice little stocking filler too.
Talking about Christmas, remember to use the Contact Me form to let me know if you need a copy of the Stampin’ Up! Autumn/Winter 2018 catalogue that launches on 5th September – not long now! I can’t wait for you to see all the fabulous new products for Halloween and Christmas.
I’ve listed the products I’ve used in today’s project below and you can click on any of them to visit my online Stampin’ Up! store.
Happy crafting,
Heather x
