Thank You card featuring Stampin’ Up! Rooted in Nature suite

I honestly can’t explain just how much I love this suite! However, I noticed that I hadn’t used much of the Designer Series Paper and there are a few of the stamps that haven’t been given much love so I decided to rectify that with this card…

I was attracted to the Rooted in Nature stamp set for the skeleton leaves stamps but I’ve come to adore all of the sentiments in the set too.  I am lucky to have people in my life that give me strength when I need it and I truly can’t thank them enough for everything they do for me; so the words on this card are simply perfect!

My card base is Whisper White Thick card measuring 29 x 14.5 cm and scored and folded at 14.5 cm and gives me a landscape side fold card.  I added a mat of Calypso Coral paper from the Nature’s Poem designer series paper that measures 14 x 10 cm.  My next layer is actually just the reverse of the same page of DSP trimmed down to 13.5 x 9.5 cm.

The centre Whisper White panel measures 11 x 7 cm. I stamped the tree in Mint Macaron ink and used the same colour to ink the edges with a sponge dauber.  I love the amount of detail you get in this tree stamp.

I stamped the sentiments in Pumpkin Pie ink onto Whisper White card and trimmed to size.  I used foam adhesive strips to attach these to my card.

The final touch is a bow made from the Mint Macaron twine that comes as part of the set of 4 spools called Nature’s Twine.  I added this with a mini glue dot.
