Hello! This month’s theme for the InspireINK Blog Hop was chosen by the lovely Lisa Emslie. She chose a Colour Challenge and picked out these colours for us to play with…
Please remember to click on the Next button at the bottom of my post to hop along to the next blog to see all the fabulous creations and get some inspiration for your own.
I will be absolutely honest with you and admit that this colour combination had me stumped for a while! I also don’t own Merry Merlot ink so I had to use card of that colour instead. It became my card base…
My card base measures 29 x 10.5 cm, which is scored in half at 14.5 cm to create a portrait tent fold. I then added Wood Textures designer series paper measuring 10 x 14 cm.
I eventually chose to use the fabulous Beautiful Bouquet stamp set and coordinating Bouquet Bunch framelits. I stamped various flowers in Daffodil Delight and Bermuda Bay inks then die cut them. I also die cut the foliage from Daffodil Delight and Bermuda Bay card.
I stamped my favourite sentiment from this set in Daffodil Delight ink onto Whisper White card and cut it using one of the circles from Stitched Shapes. I love the stitching detail you get from this set of dies. I cut a scalloped circle from Merry Merlot card using Layering Circles framelits and glued these together with multi purpose liquid glue. I also glued on 3 of the smaller flowers to my circle.
The rest of the flowers and the foliage were adhered straight onto the DSP and then I added the sentiment circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Thanks for the challenge Lisa! Now, please click on the next button to find out what Jill Chapman of Paper Daisy Crafting has made for this challenge….
