I will be absolutely honest with you and admit that this colour combination had me stumped for a while! I also don’t own Merry Merlot ink so I had to use card of that colour instead. It became my card base…
My card base measures 29 x 10.5 cm, which is scored in half at 14.5 cm to create a portrait tent fold. I then added Wood Textures designer series paper measuring 10 x 14 cm.
I eventually chose to use the fabulous Beautiful Bouquet stamp set and coordinating Bouquet Bunch framelits. I stamped various flowers in Daffodil Delight and Bermuda Bay inks then die cut them. I also die cut the foliage from Daffodil Delight and Bermuda Bay card.
I stamped my favourite sentiment from this set in Daffodil Delight ink onto Whisper White card and cut it using one of the circles from Stitched Shapes. I love the stitching detail you get from this set of dies. I cut a scalloped circle from Merry Merlot card using Layering Circles framelits and glued these together with multi purpose liquid glue. I also glued on 3 of the smaller flowers to my circle.
The rest of the flowers and the foliage were adhered straight onto the DSP and then I added the sentiment circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
